Time for a fresh look at PlayHQ-AFL on your scoreboard

The stressful start of the footy season is OVER!  Time to relax a notch :)

We're also relaxing. Our PlayHQ->Solid link is tested and working well.

We can help demystify the process of Live Scoring with PlayHQ

... + linking it to your scoreboard (1 less job for a volunteer).

We've been watching 100s of clubs closely these first few rounds of 2024.
Many already have their scoreboards connected to PlayHQ - however, are too nervous to try it!

The "existing norm" is:

1. Your timekeeper presses the siren to start the game
   
2. The scorer (sometimes the same person) starts the scoreboard clock
   
3. The scorer presses [goal]/[behind] when required (on the scoreboard system)
   
4. Someone else "sometimes" presses a team goal on the PlayHQ app (to keep the outside world up with the score)
   
5. In the evening, someone opens up PlayHQ again and enters the goal kickers.
   

We would like you to consider the "new norm":

1. Your timekeeper presses the siren to start the game
   
1. at this time they press [start] on the PlayHQ timer
   
2. the time settings will already be set by the league for that grade, ie. count up/down, minutes.
   
2. After a goal, the scorer clicks on:
   
1. The player name,
   
2. then,  the [6points] button
   
3. And so on...
   
1. Your scoreboard will run by itself
   
1. Your scoreboard will display the last few goal kickers (unless the screen is too small)
2. You will not have to log in later on to update the goal kickers

Worth noting:

1. No need to "connect" your game to the Solid system
   
1. Every fixtured PlayHQ game at your venue will be locked to your scoreboard.
   
2. Your scoring will come to life when you start up your PlayHQ scorer app.
   
2. Your club administrator will guide you through becoming a scorer on PlayHQ (including granting you access to Score)
